Here is the story…short, sweet, but smelly.
On Friday the 29th of April 2005 the Military Installation at San Lucas BCS burned 8 TONS of Marijuana, 24 Kilos of Cocaine and Numerous other confiscated prescription drugs.
The Mexican Drug Agents, Federal Highway Patrol, and local police enforcement confiscated these drugs during the year.
Now you know what the military stops actually find.
These drugs were all gathered from the area between Mulege and San Ignacio.
A new law is about to be enacted and enforced by the New Governor of Baja Sur, Narciso Agundez.
The new law will require MANDATORY drug testing for government workers, contractors, medical professionals, and others.
I will try to keep up on these changes.
