"PIGGY RACES" in Mulege

The Rotary International Club of Mulege BCS, sponsored a
I never realized I would be driving a hundred miles, round trip, to attend this function.
We loaded up the pickup and traveled to Mulege.
The afternoon included 4 “PIGGY” races, dancers from the Rotary Club, and an outstanding “PIGGY” calling contest.
The winners of the first three races raced in the final heat.
The fastest “PIGGY’s” name was “GRANDPA….go figure.
The Rotary Club of Mulege raises $3500-$4000 from this event and sponsors a college scholarship, supports the local fire department, and donates to the club clinic.

Several other friends of ours from Santa Rosalia did the same.
My “PIGGYS” never won….I pick by name.
